Dental Implants

For many of us, dental implant treatment for missing teeth is a new concept; something we never imagined possible. In an age of medical breakthroughs and longer, healthier living, it shouldn't be surprising that a lost tooth no longer means a removable partial denture. Science offers a better solution...

The Treatment Steps

The first step is to replace the missing tooth root by placing a titanium implant. The implant will remain covered underneath the gum for approximately 3 to 6 months. During this time, osseointegration should take place.
The second step of the procedure involves uncovering the implant and attaching an extension. This completes the foundation on which your new tooth will be placed.
The final step is the placement of your new tooth. With techniques that ensure optimal size, shape, color and fit, this replacement tooth will blend with your facial characteristics and remaining natural teeth.

Other possibilities include...

Full Lower Replacement
Posterior Replacement
Anterior Replacement
Full Upper Replacement

Sinus Elevation Procedure

When teeth are missing, considerable bone loss can result. There may not be enough height of bone to place implants.
To gain enough height for implants, a bone graft can be placed into the sinus. This graft will serve as a new foundation to place implants.
New crowns can then be placed onto the implants, restoring function and esthetics. Without this procedure, a fixed bridge could not be fabricated.
